This week was much less stressful than last week for us! Although we had two close rounds, it was nothing compared to last week's battle. On to the results!

Anderson's Choice - Boys
#6 Micah vs. #3 Wyatt
Winner: Wyatt
While we both like the name Micah for its uniqueness, biblical roots, and overall "sound," there was a concern about the name being shortened to "Mike." In an previous post, we discussed the issue with this, and so won't subject you all to it again. Plus, it would put Tracy's mom in another awkward spot trying to explain what the post means to our niece ;)
Other's Choice - Boys
#5 Ryan vs. #4 Benjamin
Winner: Benjamin
We did struggle a bit on this game this week. Like last week's epic 4-5 matchup, these two names "read" very similar in our opinion. And since we recognize that Benjamin would inevitably be shortened to Ben, we needed to keep this in mind in making the decision. After some deliberation, Ben moved on to take on Brady in the Sweet 16.
Anderson's Choice - Girls
#7 Kenna vs. #2 Lily
Winner: Lily
Lily was a favorite in the Baby A Name Tournament 2008, and had held it's appeal in this tournament as well. It's classic, pretty, and feminine. Kenna, on the other hand, was one of our more unique choices. It is also a nod to Tracy's mom's maiden name. But, classic wins this time around, and Lily moved on to the next round!
Other's Choice - Girls
#1 Charlotte vs. #8 Brookelyn
Winner: Charlotte
This is another matchup between a classic name and a more modern/unique name. We are sticking with classic in this game as well, and Charlotte slides past Brookelyn this week and into the Sweet 16, where she will take on another classic, 4-seed Olivia.
